Learn to Draw a B-24 Liberator

"B-24 Gathering of Eagles Convention"  on en.wikipedia.org by Mike Haggerty.
The B-24 Liberator is a heavy long-range U.S.-made bomber used by the allies from 1941-1945 during World War II. It was used in conjunction with the B-17 Flying Fortress. While it was easier to manufacture, had a longer range, was faster, and had a larger payload; the B-24 was more vulnerable than the B-17.

Step 1: Draw the body of the plane.

Step 2: Draw the wings.

Step 3: Draw in windows, engines, and propellers. Optionally, add turrets.

Step 4: Add the emblem, and write a numerical serial number on the tail.

Step 5: Draw over the pencil in pen, then erase the pencil once the ink is dry, to avoid smudges.

Step 6: Color the plane. There are many other color schemes used including a silver color, beige, olive drab, camouflage, blue, tan, etc.

Step 7: Draw in a background. I drew clouds in the sky, but you could also draw a dogfight in the air, or flying over a city or airstrip.
